Mt. Pleasant Weekly Fish Market – Shop the freshest seafood in the Lowcountry at the Mt. Pleasant Fish market every Saturday at Moultrie Middle School. This is a special market for local fishermen to sell their fresh-off-the-boat catch.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

Lowcountry Irish Festival – The goal of the festival is to bring South Carolina’s Irish and Celtic communities together in Charleston for a unified celebration of heritage. Mardi Bra – a Mardi Gras-style parking lot bash benefiting The Undergarment Society. The party runs from noon until 4 pm. The Undergarment Society is a local nonprofit that provides new bras and underwear to women escaping domestic violence and girls in foster care.
