Coastal Carolina Fair – The Coastal Carolina Fair is an annual fair that occurs at the Exchange Park Fairgrounds in Ladson, South Carolina. There are annual exhibits in Creative Arts, Two Flower Shows, Fine Art Photography Exhibits, and Farm Animals in the Barn. The fair is an all volunteer fundraiser of The Exchange Club of Charleston.

Striped Pig Distillery Tours and Tastings – Join us for tours & product tastings, Thursday & Friday 3-7 and Saturday 12-5. The last tours begin at 6 P.M. on Thursdays and Fridays and 4 P.M. on Saturdays. We also carry merchandise, and of course, all of our spirits are available for purchase at the distillery as well as in liquor stores and at bars and restaurants in South Carolina.

Lowvelo Opening Ceremony – Celebrate the launch of LOWVELO, an outdoor bike ride with 100 percent of rider-raised dollars going to cancer research. The festivities will feature performances from several local acts including The Blue Dogs. The celebration, also will include a traditional Lowcountry feast, along with beer and wine.

18th Annual Harvest Festival – Performing throughout the day will be five bluegrass bands featuring entertainment from local performers Blue Plantation, Gravel Road, YeeHaw Junction, Marshgrass Mamas, and Red Cedar Review. Plenty of food will be available for purchase, including Southern barbecue, roasted and boiled peanuts, kettle korn, and traditional favorite festival fare, plus cold beverages. A crafters’ market features will feature a variety of hand-made items that make perfect holiday gifts.

Brew at The Zoo – Brookgreen Gardens will host their ninth annual Brew at The Zoo on Saturday, November 2nd.
