Charleston Restaurant Week – one of the most highly anticipated culinary events in the Charleston area! It is an opportunity to enjoy the world-renowned cuisine of the Lowcountry as participating restaurants offer prix fixe lunch and dinner menus.

Charleston Beer Week! – As the nation’s craft beer industry grows exponentially, so has the local craft beer scene over the last few years. We boast 14 production breweries (with 6 in planning), numerous craft beer-focused pubs and stores. Join us during the second week of September as we highlight the wide variety of brands enjoyed in the city today with a wide variety of unique events.

Light The Night 2.0 – Charleston Moves, with generous support from AAA Carolinas, hosts Light The Night 2.0, a FREE bike light set giveaway in downtown Charleston. We will have 1,000 light sets available, double the number of January’s giveaway for double the impact!

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM!

Cannon Green Wine Dinner Series – Cannon Green will launch a monthly wine-inspired dinner series, hosted in the restaurant’s outdoor courtyard and private event space. Each event will feature four courses and dessert, each with a paired wine. The menu will be created by Cannon Green’s Chef Amalia Scatena and Justin Edgar, the beverage director.

Sam Adams Charleston Oktoberfest – The Sam Adams Oktoberfest is Charleston’s annual celebration of German culture, food and beer in the form of a large-scale funfair. German food and interactive games, Samuel Adams beers on tap, an authentic polka band and Charleston’s Stein Hoisting Semifinal.

Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots – Comprised of Bobby Bones, Producer Eddie and a group of random friends, Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots is a band that started for laughs, but now has the whole world singing and laughing with them.

Dirty Bourbon River w/ Whiskey Diablo – The Dirty Bourbon River Show deftly melds sounds that range from hard-edged blues to Lisztian piano driven ballads to New Orleans brass into a result that is truly a blast of new energy into the musical landscape.

Chris Stalcup & The Grange @ Hometeam – Chris Stalcup & The Grange is an Americana Rock band from Atlanta Georgia. The band finds it’s sound situated squarely in the middle of the Southern Rock mecca for which many of their songwriting influences reign tall.

Charleston Farmers Market – Located in Marion Square in the heart of Historic District in Downtown Charleston, SC, the CFM is open each Saturday, from April 9th through November 26th, 8 AM to 2 PM. There are a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

Fam Jam Family Festival @ Marion Square – Join this fun filled family event in Marion Square! Kiawah Island Triathlon – Tri-Kiawah is a USAT sanctioned intermediate distance competition featuring a .7-mile swim, 25.1-mile bike and 6.1-mile run. This race is currently the only intermediate distance triathlon in the Charleston area to feature an ocean swim.
