Music On The Green – Come on out to Freshfields Village on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for a free, outdoor concert on the Village Green featuring Port Authority Band. The dynamic foursome performs the most popular timeless Top 40 songs of Shag, Funk, Rock & Roll, Motown, 60’s & 70’s. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and beach chairs for the event.

Party At The Point – Join Patriots Point and the Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina for the best concert series in Charleston – the 15th annual Party at the Point. On Friday, May 29 Seven Handle Circus and The Kenny George Band take over the stage! Seven Handle Circus is a modern style of rock, played with energy, skill and folk instruments.

Spoleto: What Moves You – Charles “Lil Buck” Riley brought international attention to jookin’—a street dance originating in Memphis—when a video of his improvised performance with cellist Yo-Yo Ma went viral on YouTube in 2011. After being declared a “genius” by Ma, Lil Buck, who is trained in both ballet and hip-hop, has performed with Madonna, New York City Ballet, and Cirque du Soleil, and in 2014 The Wall Street Journal Magazine named him Performing Arts Innovator of the Year.

Battle of the Palmetto Cornhole Tournament – will be Cooler Cushion’s first community event to be held May 30th at DIG in the Park, Park Circle. Cornhole is becoming one of the most easiest activities to learn to play, so it does not limit participation. Designed for adults (18+), Battle of the Palmetto Cornhole, will be opportunity to network, enjoy a beautiful Saturday, and compete for cash prizes and awards.

Charleston Battery vs. Wilmington Hammerheads – The Hammerheads visit Charleston on Saturday on Military Appreciation Night, with free tickets for fans presenting valid DOD I.D. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased online or over the phone at 843.971.GOAL (4625). It’s the first match in a back-to-back home-and-away series with Wilmington. The Battery visit the Hammers on June 6 for the third game of the four the traditional rivals will contest this season.

Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series – The five-race Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series at James Island County Parkfeatures a 600-yard freshwater swim, 12-mile bike ride, and 5K flat run. Over 30,000 people have raced the series over the years, and the series has been honored as one of the Top Ten Charleston Signature Sport Events by the Charleston Metro Sports Council.
