Bohicket Marina Invitational Billfish Tournament – There will be family activities, food and fun each night, and the weigh ins begin around 4PM! Don’t miss our Sip N Stroll on Wednesday June 3rd, where local Bohicket Merchants will have complimentary drinks all throughout the Marina. On Friday night, bring the kids for a Scavenger Hunt, Kids Activities and Prizes!

Southern Seasons: Summertime Seafood and Wine – One of the many reasons we love the Lowcountry is the abundance of seafood in the summer. In this class, Chef Nicole will show you how to cook summer’s bounty while wine expert Trent will perfectly pair selections with each dish. Menu: Summer Shrimp and Grits; Crab Cake with Remoulade; Fish and Vegetables en Papillote; Lemon Soufflé.

Party At The Point – Join us for the best concert series in Charleston and a Memorial Day Kickoff – the 15th annual Party at the Point on Friday, June 5 with Banana Pancakes – The Jack Johnson Tribute Band. Banana Pancakes is a regional band made up of a group of seasoned musicians who came together to make a tribute to the “groovy stylings” and smooth sounds of Jack Johnson. The band is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Where: Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina-Patriots Point, Mount Pleasant

When: Friday, Doors – 5:30, Band – 6:30

Cost: $7 cover charge, Food and drink cash bars available

Music On The Green – Come on out to Freshfields Village on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for a free, outdoor concert on the Village Green featuring Java. The 6 talented musicians cover all genres from Jazz, Beach, 70’s & 80’s, Motown, Top 40, and so much more. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and beach chairs for the event.

Jay Leno Live at the North Charleston PAC– Former Tonight Show host and all-around standup all-star Jay Leno is bringing his 2015 tour to the stage of a theater near you, and if you hurry, there’s still time to score great tickets at an affordable price! If you know Leno for his talk-show hosting gig rather than his standup, then you’ve been missing one of the most vital voices in the genre.

Piccolo Spoleto Finale at Hampton Park: Piccolo Spoleto closes out with a line-up of local and visiting musicians. Acts include Funk Factory and Charleston’s own Brave Baby. Admission is free. For more information go to http://www.piccolospoleto.com/.

Park Circle Films: Night of The Living Dead – Join us for the ORIGINAL zombie film! Night of the Living Dead follows a group of people trapped in a rural farmhouse in Pennsylvania which is attacked by unnamed “living dead” monsters. We encourage patrons to dress in their best zombie costume for this event. The audience member voted “Best dressed” will receive a free one-year Film Fan membership!

Earth Wind And Fire at Famiy Circle Stadium – The band has received 20 Grammy nominations; they won six as a group and two of its members, Maurice White and Bailey, won separate individual awards, they have 12 American Music Awards nominations and four awards. They have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and sold over 90 million albums worldwide. The band is also known as having been the first African-American act to sell out Madison Square Garden.

Spoleto: Romeo and Juliet – Shakespeare’s Globe makes its Spoleto Festival USA debut with a brand new production of Romeo and Juliet. Featuring many of William Shakespeare’s most beloved lines, Romeo and Juliet is as thrilling and heartbreaking for those discovering this classic play as it is for those who have experienced it many times. Renowned for its authentic yet bold productions, this esteemed company hails from London’s rebuilt Globe Theatre—the venue Shakespeare called home.

Bark For Your Brew – Bark for your Brew tickets include entry for you and your dog, sampling glass and sampling tickets, a treat for the first 500 dogs and a ticket to the dog-day Riverdogs game versus the Asheville Tourists. Sample over 30 beers while strolling with your furry friend!

Sunday Brunch Farmers Market: Come celebrate community with us and stock up for the week with tons of quality local goods! This is an opportunity specifically for small producers and new and beginning businesses who source locally to sell amongst their peers and to develop their market base.

Blackbeard’s Cove Anniversary Celebration – To celebrate nine years of serving the local community, Blackbeard’s Cove Family Fun Park is inviting guests to enjoy an anniversary celebration on Sunday, June 7. The park will host events and activities throughout the day, including balloon animals, airbrush tattoos, magic tricks, and live music. Attendees will also enjoy participating in “FUNdraising” opportunities to help raise money for local firefighters and police officers. The anniversary event is free to attend, and guests will also enjoy a free meal between 11am – 1pm, while supplies last.
