Party At The Point – Join the best concert series in Charleston for the 15th annual Party at the Point on Friday, June 19th with The Dubplates. The Dubplates are a traditional reggae riddim band. A traditional riddim band plays behind several artists a night, which means knowing all of the classic and popular instrumental versions. The Dubplates have backed popular names such as Tanya Stephens, Zumjay, Big Boi of Outkast, and Future Fambo.

Where: Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina-Patriots Point, Mount Pleasant

When: Friday, Doors – 5:30, Band – 6:30

Cost: $7 cover charge, Food and drink cash bars available

Music On The Green – Come on out to Freshfields Village on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for a free, outdoor concert on the Village Green featuring  The Business.  This group of six of the best musicians around includes a horn section and powerful vocals to deliver an unbelievable performance with a range of soul, rock, oldies, and new hits.

When: Friday, 6-9 p.m.

Moon Light Mixer on Folly Beach – Shag the night away under the stars at the Folly Beach Edwin S. Taylor Fishing Pier, where DJ Jim Bowers will be spinning the hottest oldies and beach music for you all night long. Beverages will be available for purchase on site. ID is required to purchase alcohol.

Deluge Charleston – Enjoy A Water Gladiator Obstacle Course Giant Human Hamster Ball Run 75 ft Dueling “Slip & Slide” Firemen Water Stampede Mammoth Water-Rides & More. Enjoy ice cold beer and summer treats from local food trucks! Bring a towel and dig out those water blasters gathering dust in the garage and PLEASE At America’s Largest Family Water Battle.  DJs will rock the crowd all day. Expect To Get Wet!

Lowcountry Brunch at Southern Season – There’s no better way to start a weekend morning than with a delicious brunch. In this class Chef Halley will show you how to put a Lowcountry spin on this meal and create a menu that is perfect for entertaining. Menu: Avocado, Tomato and Poached Egg Toast with a Sriracha Hollandaise; Smoked Salmon Hash; Grilled Shrimp served over Grit Cakes.

Johns Island Farmers Market – The Homegrown Farmers Market on Johns Island is open from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. every Saturday and features local farmers, artisans, food vendors, live music and interactive kids’ activities and a bounce house.

The Fifth Annual Lowcountry “Bluesberry” Jam & Blueberry Festival – Come on out to the fifth annual “Bluesberry Jam” and Lowcountry Blueberry Festival on Sunday, June 21, from 12 to 7 pm at Blue Pearl Farms for the most delicious blueberries in theLowcountry and some of the region’s best blues musicians jamming on the stage by Cypress Pond. You can also try breaking the world record for the Blueberry Toss, currently 43 feet six inches: one person throws the blueberry, and the other catches it…in their mouth. Dads accompanied by their children get a free cup of blueberries at the gate.

Charleston  Sprint Triathlon Series – The five-race Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series at James Island County Park features a600-yard freshwater swim, 12-mile bike ride, and 5K flat run. Over 30,000 people have raced the series over the years, and the series has been honored as one of the Top Ten Charleston Signature Sport Events by the Charleston Metro Sports Council.
