Garden & Gun Jubilee: Made In The South Weekend – Join Garden & Gun for the third annual MADE IN THE SOUTH WEEKEND celebrating the best of Garden & Gun in one place. JUBILEE 2015 will be a lively mix of sporting, shopping, food, music, and art, as well as special dinners and live entertainment on the grounds of the historic state park Charles Towne Landing in Charleston, South Carolina. Attracting G&G readers from all over the country, the three-day festival is a continuation of our commitment to celebrating the best of Southern culture and promises to delight and inspire.

Imagine tasting of some of the finest wines from Italy, Spain and Napa Valley, enjoying treats from Charleston’s best restaurateurs, while shopping in 10 fabulous stores on King Street.

Loading Dock Music Series @ Palmetto Brewing – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2015 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM! This week features a Ramen pop-up by 2 Nixons! Tonight’s featured bands include C-Town Revelators and Southern Flavor Bluegrass.

Holiday Fair -The weekend Holiday Fair offers families and friends a place to gather and celebrate the holidays. Children can enjoy free visits with Santa Claus and loads of fun activities in his workshop. There’s also marshmallow roasting, over-sized holiday cards by local students, and live entertainment. The Stony Landing House will be adorned in historical decorations provided by the Town and Village Garden Club. Entry is included with your $5 admission.

Holiday Festival of Lights – Each year, thousands of families create lasting memories at the Holiday Festival of Lights, where millions of multicolored lights illuminate the sky throughout 52 enchanting nights. Journey through three miles of over 700 magical light displays of all shapes and sizes. Park your car and enjoy family activities, shopping, food, entertainment, and so much more!

A Lowcountry Christmas – The Christmas season comes alive at Boone Hall Plantation with an exciting new special event that is designed to bring some holiday magic and joy to people of all ages! Through magical 3D glasses, guests will see Santa’s elves hard at work making toys as Ms. Claus and her helpers are baking up goodies in her special kitchen; all while Santa is preparing for the big night. And yes, Santa will be there to greet all and pose for that special picture.

Charleston Night Market – Area Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Charleston Holiday Market – The Charleston Farmers Market is dedicated to the support and advocacy of Lowcountry farmers, growers, prepared/packaged food, artisans, crafters and live performers. We offer a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans. Attracting citizens and visitors alike, the CFM is the community connection, bringing together people from all parts of the Lowcountry and beyond.

Homegrown Holiday Baazar – The Homegrown Holiday Bazaar will be featuring many vendors from the local Lowcountry area, beer and wine, along with activities for the whole family! Vendors include anything from arts & crafts to specialty foods. There will also be a silent auction with great items ranging from Gym memberships to Restaurant gift cards! This is a great event to get unique and handmade Christmas gifts!

Holiday Festival @ Family Circle Tennis Center – This family friendly, holiday treasure has been voted one of the “Top 10 Best & Free” events during the holiday season by the Charleston community. Be sure to find out why and discover for yourselves all that it has to offer! There will be over 100 of your favorite vendors all handpicked and confeniently located along the stadium concourse at Family Circle Stadium. Enjoy festive drinks and food while you shop.

Johns Island Oyster Festival – Come out and support Carolina Children’s Charity on Dec 5th! Oysters, family fun and live music, Kids under 12 are FREE! Enjoy award winning barbecue, local crafters, kids inflatable area, oyster eating contest, holiday winter ski show with Santa, Holy City Heli-Rides wakeboard competition and jet ski jumping competition.

Fire Roasted Oyster Festival – Bulls Bay Historic Passage Chamber of Commerce, Bulls Bay Oyster Roasts, Sewee Outpost and Awendaw Green present a traditional fire roasted oyster festival to celebrate and promote local businesses while preserving our natural and cultural resources. This event is BYOB. There will be wood fired pizza for all to enjoy. This event is for all ages. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Tree Lighting @ Marion Square – Grab the kids, family members, and friends for this annual Charleston Christmas event! Marion Square Park is the location for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. The lighting is at 6PM! Mayor Joe Riley, along with Santa Clause, will join together in lighting this gargantuan 60 foot Christmas tree.

11th Annual Friends of McLeod Oyster Roast – The Friends of McLeod announce our 11th ANNUAL OYSTER ROAST on Saturday, December 5th from 5 – 8 p.m. There will be live music by Henry’s Attic as well as oysters, barbecue, hot dogs and fixings all included in the ticket price. Tickets: $25 before December 5th, $30 at the door. Where: The Pavilion on McLeod Plantation

Downtown Charleston Holiday Parade – The City of Charleston Holiday Parade offers a great opportunity to bring the community together and appreciate the joy that comes along with the Holiday season. This year’s special guest is Santa Claus. Santa Claus will be featured at the rear of the Parade and will be delivered to Marion Square at the conclusion of the Parade. Santa Claus will be available in Marion Square following the parade for photos.

Deck The Halls Soiree @ Warehouse – The “Holiday Soiree for a Cause” will feature live funk performed by Super Deluxe from 6-9 p.m and Whiskey Tasting by: High West Distillery from 6-8pm. There will be holiday-cheer-small-plates prepared by chef Emily Hahn as well as holiday cocktails, spiked eggnog and contest for best dressed Santa, Elf or Mrs. Clause.
