Weekend Events In Charleston On Saturday, September 3rd

Charleston Farmers Market – Located in Marion Square in the heart of Historic District in Downtown Charleston, SC, the CFM is open each Saturday, from April 9th through November 26th, 8 AM to 2 PM. There are a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

Pigs & Pigskins @ The Alley – The first Saturday of college football is kicking off September 3rd and Charleston’s Best Sports Bar is celebrating with a Pigs & Pigskins hog roast. We’re inviting all you sports fans to come out between 11am-4pm for some delicious BBQ and to catch your favorite teams in action.

Lowcountry Hog Fest – A two-day festival over Labor Day weekend to benefit the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. In the field behind Low Country Harley-Davidson, the event will feature a BBQ Competition sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society, live music, a custom car & bike show, a kid zone, vendor village, and more!

Labor Day Weekend Blowout @ Ghost Monkey – There’s going to be a lineup of great food trucks and music acts for the entire Labor Day weekend at Ghost Monkey Brewery. Food trucks include Short Grain and Turtle Pops with live music by Chewbacky, Rescue Blues and Buzzrun.

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

8th Annual Lowcountry Jazz Festival – Jazz superstars Brian Culbertson, Will Downing, and Peabo Bryson will headline the 2016 Greater Charleston Lowcountry Jazz Festival on Labor Day Weekend. Now in its eighth year, the festival draws thousands of jazz fans to the Lowcountry each year. The festival benefits the Closing the Gap in Health Care, Inc.

North Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market – The Rusty Rudder Mount Pleasant is proud to host the North Mt. Pleasant Farmers’ and Craft Market Every Sunday from 11am-3pm. Featuring items from local vendors in the Lowcountry.
