Boone Hall Fright Nights – It’s the last night!!! Celebrate Halloween at Boone Hall Plantation with tons of scary events for folks 12 years and older. Children are admitted but Boone Hall does NOT recommend that children under 12, pregnant women or people prone to strokes enter the event. Haunted hayrides, a zombie town and other attractions will scare even the most wicked of hearts. Close-toed shoes are highly recommended. Prices vary, $27 for an all-inclusive ticket. Boo’s and BBQ Halloween Booze Cruise – Book your ticket on the Carolina Queen for a 2 hour cruise around the Charleston Harbor. Included in your ticket is: Home Team BBQ buffet, Live Blues jams by Shrimp City Slim and a costume contest with cash prizes. $42.95 for adult ticket. Board the boat at 6:30. Cruise from 7pm-9pm. Isle of Palms Family Halloween Carnival – Enjoy games for all ages on IOP this Halloween! There will be a costume contest with various age division ranging from 2 years old to 13 years old. Kids will enjoy jump castles, face painting, trick or treating, prizes and more! Concessions and food will be for purchase, provided by the Isle of Palms Exchange Club. 5pm-7pm. 16th Annual James Island Connector Run – The annual 10k that runs over one of the most beautiful views of the Charleston Harbor followed by live music, food and refreshments. 8:30am. Cannon Park. $40 for the 10k for same day registration.

Brews and Chews Beer Festival – Head out to Wild Dunes for an afternoon and evening of national craft beers and a dozen food stations from some of Charleston’s great chefs! Live music and lawn games will entertain your whole crowd and Wild Dunes’ newest outdoor pool area is the backdrop for the event! It will be a great afternoon for all. 3pm-7pm. Daniel Island Park Day – Daniel Island’s popular Fall festival, Park Day, is back and will take place this year at Governors Park! A fall tradition in the Lowcountry, this festival is a day of outdoor family fun that showcases and supports a wide range of local non-profit organizations. In addition to live entertainment, games, jump castles and animal exhibits, Park Day will also host a food truck rodeo and a sports pub tent to watch all your favorite college football teams! 11am-4pm.
