Festivities In Charleston On Friday, July 29th

Dallas Baker Duo @ The Windjammer – Dallas Baker is a native of the greater Charleston, South Carolina area. He now resides on James Island with his lovely wife, three children, two rescue dogs, two beta fish, and a mini-rex bunny. Dallas is a naturalist at Coastal Expeditions by day and music man by night.

Holy City Hullabaloo – This 2 day extravaganza brings to you some of the hardest working local and touring bands in the scene together for all to see in one place finally. Featuring: Duppies, Control This, Chilled Monkey Brains, Sex Wax, First World Problem, Corporate Fandango, Glass Lashes, The Independents an more!

Where: The Tin Roof, Charleston

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM!

Music On The Green: Innocent Bystanders – Join Freshfields Village each Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for a complimentary concert on the Village Green! This week’s Music on the Green features Innocent Bystanders. Guests are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket for the event.

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

RiverDogs Home Game – Wear red to the box office to support the military and save $1 off your ticket OR donate that dollar to the Wounded Warrior Corps. Stick around after the game as we light up the sky over the Ashley River with a post-game fireworks display.

Cracker live @ The Windjammer – Cracker have just released their tenth studio effort, entitled Berkeley To Bakersfield, a double-album that finds this uniquely American band traversing two different sides of the California landscape – the northern Bay area and further down-state in Bakersfield.

Grant Garland Band @ Hometeam – Garland is drawing comparisons to a swath of well-known musicians as wide as the meandering Mississippi river. After graduating from Arkansas State University in 2004 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Music, he formed his own band that quickly generated a buzz in the northeast.

Festivities In Charleston On Saturday, July 30th

Charleston Farmers Market – Located in Marion Square in the heart of Historic District in Downtown Charleston, SC, the CFM is open each Saturday, from April 9th through November 26th, 8 AM to 2 PM. There are a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

RiverDogs Home Game – Saturday Live at The Joe features player autographs after the game. Following the game, fans are encouraged to stick around and get watch the sneak preview of the new FOX television series “Pitch,” the inspirational story of the first woman to pitch in Major League Baseball.

When: Saturday, 8 p.m.

Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theater – Comic mysteries featuring plenty of audience participation play each week and include titles like Sherlock Holmes, Pirate Mystery Treasure Show (suitable for children), and Inspector NoClue’s History Mystery.

Kenny George Band @ Hometeam – The five members of KGB have been crafting a melodic blend of country, folk and southern rock since 2007. The attention-grabbing sound is driven by singer/songwriter/guitarist Kenny George’s gritty vocals, the twangy pedal steel of Center Ely, bassist Brooks Andrews, guitarist Scott Rankin & drummer Bucky Brown.

Festivities In Charleston On Sunday, July 29th

Charleston Sprint Triathlon – The five-race Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series at James Island County Parkfeatures a 600-yard freshwater swim, 12-mile bike ride, and 5K flat run. Over 30,000 people have raced the series over the years, and the series has been honored as one of the Top Ten Charleston Signature Sport Events by the Charleston Metro Sports Council.

North Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market – The Rusty Rudder Mount Pleasant is proud to host the North Mt. Pleasant Farmers’ and Craft Market Every Sunday from 11am-3pm. Featuring items from local vendors in the Lowcountry.

RiverDogs Home Game – Before the game kids play catch on the field! After the game kids can get to run the bases. For Holy City Sunday the team will be wearing their new specialty uniforms displaying “Holy City” across their fronts. All Kid’s Club Members get in FREE!

Slightly Stoopid @ Riverfront Park – Slightly Stoopid will be performing live in North Charleston as part of their Return Of The Red Eye Tour. Performing with Slightly Stoopid will be  SOJA, Zion I, and The Grouch & Eligh. Tickets are on sale here
