Party At The Point: Blue Dogs w/ Whiskey Run – 2016 marks 28 years since standup bassist Hank Futch joined forces with longtime friend, fellow Cub Scout, and acoustic guitarist/vocalist Bobby Houck under the band name “Blue Dogs,” and so they will celebrate their 28th Anniversary this year. Party at the Point tickets: $7.00. Cash Only for entry and food/beer inside the venue.

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM!

Music On The Green: Shem Creek Boogie Band – Join Freshfields Village each Friday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 pm for a complimentary concert on the Village Green! This week’s Music on the Green features Shem Creek Boogie Band. Guests are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket for the event.

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series – The Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series at James Island County Park features traditional old school roots reggae with a new school attitude in a beautiful outdoor setting. Bring your chairs or blanket. This week’s artist is: Ras Bonghi Reggae All-Stars. Tickets: $10.

Grateful Dead Tribute by Burnt Wood – Come out to the Windjammer for the Follywood Summer Tribute featuring Burnt Wood’s tribute to the Grateful Dead and Taco Donkey’s tribute to the Rolling Stones.

Festivities In Charleston on Saturday, June 25th

Charleston Farmers Market – Located in Marion Square in the heart of Historic District in Downtown Charleston, SC, the CFM is open each Saturday, from April 9th through November 26th, 8 AM to 2 PM. There are a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

Berlin’s 30th Anniversary Food Truck Rodeo – Berlin’s is teaming up with the Charleston Animal Society to throw our Food Truck Rodeo to celebrate 30 successful years as Charleston’s largest restaurant supply company! BrewMoo Beer Festival – Legare Farms will host their first BrewMoo Beer Festival featuring eleven local breweries who will be there showcasing their brews. Food will be available also. Sunflowers and Sin and Mason Dixon Band will provide great music for the evening.

Charleston Carifest – Charleston Carifest Street Parade starts at 4:00 pm from John and King Streets and go down King to Sumter to Congress into Brittle Bank Park. Brittle Bank Park starts at 5:00 pm and goes until 11:00 Pm. Live entertainment with International Reggae /Soca/Reggae Artist King Danskie and the Dubplates Band.

Rum Runners Charleston – The Producers of the sold-out Bacon and Bourbon invite you to join them in exploring the spirits and flavors of the West Indies with 10 chefs and 30 rum distilleries serving up delicious pairings. Pay homage to the spirit that gave the Rum Runner its name, pirates, and all the best flavors of the West Indies.

Bluegrass & Bottles Brunch – Prohibition will be launching their Bluegrass & Bottles Brunch featuring champagne bottle-service and awesome live bluegrass tunes from Red Cedar Review Duo. Clear your social calendar for a Sunday Funday like no other with the meal that everyone looks forward to all week: Sunday Brunch.
