Events In Charleston On Friday, September 15th

Charleston Restaurant Week –  Diners spend the week sampling the varying cuisine of the Lowcountry. Participating restaurants offer prix fixe menus, discounted prices, or other specials throughout the “week.”

Charleston Beer Week – While Hurricane Irma definitely disrupted the first half of CBW, we still have four days and 22 events left on our calendar! Charleston Beer Week celebrates our city’s craft beer community, from brewer to bartender, from keg to glass.

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM!

 Tyler Boone Live – Big (i.e. Bier) things are happening on the corner of East Bay and Chapel in Charleston, SC! Come see international recording artist Chris Boone live this Friday!

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

46th Annual Charleston Scottish Games – The Charleston Games is home to one of the largest piping & drumming competitions in the Southeast. There will also be Scottish Heavy Athletics, dancing, children’s activities, a beer garden, rugby demonstrations, door prizes and more!

Chuckdown Showdown SUP Race – The 5th Annual Chucktown Showdown benefits Surfers Healing Folly Beach! Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

FAM JAM Free Family Festival – This is the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry’s signature annual event celebrating family and community togetherness and the power of PLAY.

Bendy Brewski Yoga – Accessible and fun Yoga inside the brewery for 45 minutes followed by a flight or pint of craft beer! We always some mats to borrow and your teacher Michele is kind, fun and knowledgeable!

Sunday Brunch @ The Granary – The Granary is now serving brunch again every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Indulge in dishes such as duck and waffles, shrimp and grits or huevos rancheros along with mimosas, bloody marys, Moscow mules and other brunch cocktails.
