Holiday Festival of Lights – The Holiday Festival of Lights returns to James Island County Park in November for its 29th year. The annual light show is one of Charleston’s most beloved holiday events and features an estimated two million shimmering lights.

Grand Illumination @ Middleton Place– This lively event celebrates the return of Arthur Middleton from Philadelphia, the end of the Revolutionary War in the South and the departure from Charleston of the British troops. C of C Holiday Light Show – Cougar Night Lights holiday spectacular transforms the College of Charleston’s historic Cistern Yard and Randolph Hall with a specially designed light and sound show. Look for custom, festive holiday designs emblazoned across the historic façade and wintry string lights draped through the campus’ famed live oaks – and a hot chocolate stand on weekends.
