Holiday Festival of Lights – Each year, thousands of families create lasting memories at the Holiday Festival of Lights, where millions of multicolored lights illuminate the sky throughout 52 enchanting nights. Journey through three miles of over 700 magical light displays of all shapes and sizes. Park your car and enjoy family activities, shopping, food, entertainment, and so much more!

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

11th Annual Palmetto Society Oyster Roast – Always the Best Oyster Roast of the Season!  Tickets are $30 in advance/ $40 at the door. Food and beer/wine included!  Come out and celebrate Oyster Season with a few drinks and some good friends. Live Music with Root Doctors!

Disney On Ice presents Let’s Celebrate – Audiences are invited to make an ordinary day extraordinary and enjoy some of the world’s most popular festivities, including a winter wonderland with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, a Halloween haunt with the Disney Villains, a Hawaiian luau with Lilo and Stitch, a Royal Ball with the Disney Princesses, a Very Merry Unbirthday Party and more in one action-packed and positively unforgettable celebration!

 Charleston Comedy Festival Stand Up Competition Semi-Finals – The Semi-Final rounds will feature 10 comics each night performing their best 6 minutes and the audience will vote on who they like best.  The top 3 vote getters will move on to the Final Round on Saturday, December 5 here at Theatre 99.

Charleston Farmers Market – The CFM is dedicated to the support and advocacy of Lowcountry farmers, growers, prepared/packaged food, artisans, crafters and live performers. We offer a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans. Attracting citizens and visitors alike, the CFM is the community connection, bringing together people from all parts of the Lowcountry and beyond.

Ultra Chili 50K – Join other Lowcountry runners for the inaugural Ultra Chili 50K, where you’ll navigate through the majestic moss-draped trails of Laurel Hill County Park during this multi-loop race. Individuals and teams are encouraged to enter, and the post-race party includes hot chili and cold beer.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. We want this market to be a one-stop-shop for everything on your shopping list to be sourced locally. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives. (i.e. observation bee hives, crochet/craft classes, live animal and homesteading information).

Lowcountry Local First Block Party – community members and local merchantsd come together for a one-of-a-kind social event that highlights locally owned independent businesses with live music, local artists, indie retailers, film and of course LOCAL food, beverages and beer garden. Just in time for all your holiday shopping, the Lowcountry Artist Market has curated 35+ vendors featuring local makers, artists, and craftspeople.

2015 Charleston Animal Society Chili Cook-off – 4,000 animal lovers came out to show their support at last year’s cook-off and everyone had a great time. Thanks to your support, $250,000 was raised for Charleston Animal Society’s Medical Fund! Please join us this year as a guest, a team or a sponsor — our community’s animals are depending on you.

Books and Brews @ Holy City Brewing – Come out to Holy City Brewing to celebrate books and beer with authors Patrick Wensink, Jason Zwiker, and Leah Rhyne! The writers will read to you, and then we can all hang out, kick back, and drink a few beers, toasting life and love and literature!

Futurebirds @ The Music Farm – Covered in kudzu and swathed in a blanket of humidity, spanish moss, feedback and reverb exists Futurebirds. Here, at this intersection, we find a synthesis of the two extremes of Neil Young’s yin and yang. It’s at this crossroads, on this plane that Futurebirds meld the sweet, lilting, pedal steel and harmonies of the Stray Gators with the raucous, buzzing, distortion of Crazy Horse.

 9th Annual Oyster Roast Fundraiser – The James Island Yacht club invites you to this family friendly event providing an opportunity for all to gather together for live music, Lowcountry oysters, BBQ, beer, wine and soft drinks. How Can YOU Help? Become a sponsor. Collect financial donations through your family, friends, local businesses.

Aware to Care Fundraiser – In honor of National Epilepsy Awareness month Purple Rose Candle and Cameo Boutique proudly present Aware to Care: An Epilepsy Education & Awareness Fundraiser! Bohemian Bull, Cameo Boutique and Purple Rose Candle will all be donating 10% of all sales during the event to S.A.F.E. There will be a silent auction and raffles will be drawn throughout the event to help raise money for S.A.F.E.!
