Mt. Pleasant Home and Garden Show – The show will feature the very best new home builders, remodelers, decorators, landscapers, gardening experts and more from the Lowcountry. Enjoy a Food Truck Rodeo on Saturday and Sunday from 12 – 4pm. There will be LIVE MUSIC from the Moonshiners on Saturday and Ronnie Johnson and Dale Baker from Buddy Rose Shrimp Shack on Sunday, from 1-4 pm. Admission is free!

Corey Smith @ The Music Farm – The way Corey Smith sees it, he owes a debt to his fans. And it’s one he is determined to repay with his 10th album, While the Gettin’ Is Good. The project, released on Sugar Hill Records, marks the first time that the singer-songwriter, a wildly popular touring artist who has produced all of his past efforts, has turned over the reins to a bona fide country music producer in Keith Stegall.

Palmetto Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2015 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10 p.m.! This week’s performances include Pinkerton and The Brinks at 6 p.m. followed by Laura Jane Vincent.

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! 6th Annual Charleston Mac Off – This melt in your mouth mainstay is a classic that is served as a side dish, a pasta entrée, a casserole, fried appetizer or even dessert on many Charleston menus. The Mac Off is an event that gives tribute to our love of this versatile cheesy dish and we are seeking to crown the best of the best. 25 local restaurants, cafes, and caterers will compete for the Best Mac and Cheese in Charleston.

8th Annual Follypalooza Street Festival – This year’s event will feature over 50 food and art vendors on Center Street and at Folly Beach County Park, as well as a local art competition at the Community Center. In addition to the local vendors, attendees will enjoy live entertainment on two stages with performances by Deadwin, Noelle Brown & The Troublemakers, The Outervention, Jazz on the Edge Allstars, Champagne with Friends, Wire & Wood and more. Other activities include mechanical bull rides, carnival games, jump castles, and face painting for kids.

Be More Tea Festival Presented by Lipton – Lipton is bringing some major, nationally known artists to perform at North Charleston’s Riverfront Park for the Be More Tea Festival on Saturday, including Passion Pit, Walk the Moon, St. Lucia and The Roots, all for free.

James Island Connector Run – The James Island Connector Run is one of the most scenic race route in the southeast and one of the most challenging courses in the Lowcountry! Overlooking the beautiful Ashley River and the historic downtown peninsula of Charleston, this 10K Run/ 5K Walk goes over and back the span of the scenic James Island Connector.

Charleston Farmers Market – The CFM is dedicated to the support and advocacy of Lowcountry farmers, growers, prepared/packaged food, artisans, crafters and live performers. We offer a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans. Attracting citizens and visitors alike, the CFM is the community connection, bringing together people from all parts of the Lowcountry and beyond. Whether you are a local that joins us each weekend or a visitor just passing through, we have something for everyone and we appreciate your support!

Mixson Farmer’s Market – Each week, Mixson partners with GrowFood Carolina to provide fresh produce grown by state farmers. The Farmers Market also stocks local cheeses, fresh breads, artisanal grains, honey, jams, jellies, and more. The Farmers Market runs through November 7th.

Hunter’s Moon Dinner @ Middleton Place – Celebrate the coming of the Hunter’s Moon with a feast of wild game and fall vegetables with seasonal beers from Holy City Brewing. The Hunter’s Moon historically served as an important feast day in both Western Europe and among many Native American tribes. The event will be held in the living history Plantation Stableyards at Middleton Place. Music by Graham Whorley.

Lowcountry Trail Half Marathon and 5K – Take to the trails of Mullet Hall Equestrian Center on foot during the Lowcountry Trail Half Marathon and 5K. Breathtaking fall foliage, moss-draped oaks, and native wildlife provide a scenic backdrop reminiscent of days gone by. An award ceremony and a party with live music and beverages will be held after the races.

Bazaar at the Point– A community event focused on locally sourced products, arts and crafts. Open and free to the public every fourth Sunday of the month. While shopping with local vendors, sip on Mimosa’s and Bloody Mary’s and tap your toes to one of Asheville’s favorite Bluegrass bands, Fireside Collective. Kids, there are plenty to keep you busy too… a live bee exhibit, touch tank from Grice Marine Lab, inflatable double slide, corn hole, fossil fun and take home your very own FREE Sharks Tooth & SC State Shell.
