36th Annual Charleston Boat Show – Now in its 36th year, The Charleston Boat Show is the place to find the latest and best in marine equipment, supplies and accessories. Demonstrations, kids’ activities, and entertainment make this a maritime event for the entire family.

When: Starts Friday, 12 p.m., event continues Saturday and Sunday

Kiawah Comedy Weekend – Come one out for a weekend featuring two nights of nonstop laughter with some of the nation’s most acclaimed comedians. Comedians have credits including shows such as The Late Late Show, Conan and networks including Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime, CMT and many more.

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM! Featured Food Truck this week is Dashi!

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Cowboy Mouth @ The Windjammer – The band name “Cowboy Mouth” usually means “One with a loud and raucous voice”. The nucleus of the band formed in the 1990s, and they have become a powerhouse live act whose performances have been likened to “a religious experience.”

Johns Island Farmers Market – The Johns Island Farmers Market started up a few years ago and has grown to include artisans and vendors who make everything from unique candles and soaps, to fresh local honey to homegrown vegetables, herbs and spices. Food trucks, live music and kids festivities have also made their way into this family event.

5th Annual Charleston Food Truck Rodeo – Come celebrate your #LocalLove with all your favorite food trucks, local brews, and local tunes!! They will be serving up Charleston’s most unique flavors in one spot! FREE ADMISSION. There will be kid’s activities, 18 Food Trucks, and a cash bar. Live bands include Igoe Sisters, Funk You Folly and Dante’s Camaro.

7th Annual Follywood Oyster Roast – Featuring live music by The Piedmont Boys, The Royal Tinfoil, Josh Roberts & The Hinges, Guilt Ridden Troubadour, Deadwin, Don’t Mess with The Tiger & more surprise special guests. Other attractions include 12 Local Art Vendors, Kids Activities (Jump Castles, Balloon Animals, Face-Painting, Corn Hole, etc.), Food Trucks featuring Cajun, Creole, Caribbean & Lowcountry Fare, as well as Popsicles, Adult Ice Cream, Street Corn & Desserts.

12th Annual Battle of Charleston Reenactment –  Legare Farms & the 7th SC Infantry are proud to present the 12th Annual Battle of Charleston Living Military Timeline featuring Pirates, Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, and Vietnam living history and skirmishes.

8th Annual Swamp Angel Oyster Roast – Guest Speaker Karen Stokes, Civil War Historian, Author, and former FJE resident will speak about Confederate Prisoners of War known as “The Immortal 600” who were confined in a stockade prison on Morris Island and were subjected to extraordinary ordeals. Oysters, chili, hotdogs, etc provided.

2016 CSC Oyster Roast Benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters – the Charitable Society of Charleston’s annual oyster roast has always been a popular event here in the lowcountry and this year proceeds benefit big brothers big sisters. Tickets are $35 in advance ($40 at the door) and include admission, oysters, beer* and wine*, hot dogs, chili, and live music from “Dan’s Tramp Stamp”. The official after party for the event will be at The Alley.

Brews And Blues Beer Festival – Attendees will enjoy unlimited samples some of the finest fermentations available. The breweries in attendance this year will be Lagunitas, Holy City, Lo-Fi, Frothy Beard and Cooper River.  In addition to great drinks, music by Tony Magee, Weigh Station and The Night Caps will grace the Music Farm stage.

Dumpstaphunk @ The Charleston Pour House – Dumpstaphunk stands out among New Orleans’ best as one of the funkiest bands to ever arise from the Crescent City. 33rd Annual Lowcountry Oyster Festival – The Lowcountry Oyster Festival is the world’s largest oyster festival and has been named one of the “top 20 events in the southeast” by Southeastern Tourism Society. Highlights include the legendary “Oyster Shucking” and “Oyster Eating” Contests, live music on the main stage, wine, a selection of domestic and imported beers, a Children’s Area and a “Food Court” showcasing a variety of local favorite restaurants to satisfy everyone’s taste. Papadosio with The Mantras @ The Music Farm – With their fourth full-length studio release Extras In A Movie, Papadosio reveals a striking cinematic cornucopia of sounds: orchestral, electronic, organic, acoustic, psychedelic and celestial. The Mantras, a six piece jam machine born of Greensboro, NC have been conquering crowds and melting minds all over the country progressively for 10 years.
