Sertoma Football Classic – Tickets for the 47th Annual Sertoma Football Classic, the official kick off event for high school football in the Lowcountry, are now on sale. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, August 10th and Friday, August 11th.

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM!

Music On The Green – Each  of the concert performances will be held on the Village Green in Freshfields Village, located at the crossroads of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. The series will continue every Friday night through September 1st. Music this week: Gracious Day.

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Hootie & the Blowish will return to the Volvo Car Stadium this August for their annual HomeGrown concert performance. The local group will play at the Daniel Island venue with Cowboy Mouth on Friday, August 11th and with Stop Light Observations on Saturday, August 12th.

Charleston Farmers Market – Checkout the Charleston Farmers Market every Saturday in beautiful Marion Square and peruse the aisles, where you will enjoy a wide variety of 100+ Local Vendors, artisans and craftsmen, as well as farmers and growers!

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

The National Pro BBQ Tour – the largest barbeque tournament in America, makes its way to North Charleston, on Saturday, August 12th. Thirty competition BBQ teams will battle it out for a chance to win $10,000 and to advance to the Regional Championship.

Firefighters Bar Crawl – Enjoy crawling from bar to bar in downtown Charleston in your best Firefighter gear alongside many active Fireman participating in the crawl themselves. This crawl isn’t just a bar to bar crawl, instead it will also feature different team activities.

Bendy Brewski Yoga – Accessible and fun Yoga inside the brewery for 45 minutes followed by a flight or pint of craft beer! We always some mats to borrow and your teacher Michele is kind, fun and knowledgeable!

Annual Bikini Bash @ The Windjammer – The famous (infamous?) Budweiser Bikini Bash series returns to The Windjammer in Isle on Palms on Sunday. The format varies slightly every year, but the gist of the event is that people watch girls dance around in bikinis.
