Boone Hall Fright Nights Opens! – Live actors. state of the art technology, and elaborate sets combine to ramp up the scare factor at South Carolina’s largest multi-attraction haunted event. Be prepared to be scared. Dates are set and for this legendary Lowcountry favorite for fright fun and excitement.

Henry’s Attic @ Hometeam BBQ – Henry’s Attic delivers a full set of obscure yet well-known covers and originals to please the broadest of musical palettes. This material radiates energy and inspiration that captivates audiences with slivers of soul-pounding rhythm & blues, country, and rock and riveting zydeco endeavors.

Palmetto Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2015 Loading Dock Music Series. Featuring Live shows and a delicious food truck every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM! This Weeks bands: 6:00pm: The V-Tones of Charleston, 7:15pm Minimum Wage and 8:30 pm: Stephane Wrembel.

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Oktoberfest 5K Run/Walk – The East Cooper Breakfast Rotary Club (ECBR) will host its annual charity run on September 26th beginning at Laurel Hill County Park at 9 a.m. The Oktoberfest 5K Run-Walk is a Saturday run with an authentic German Band and a Bavarian Beer Garden to welcome participants to the finish line. This event supports the club’s fundraising efforts for the following charities: ECBR will team up with the local Marine Reserves Unit again this year in their Annual ECBR Toys for Tots Bike Drive.

Mixson Farmer’s Market – Each week, Mixson partners with GrowFood Carolina to provide fresh produce grown by state farmers. The Farmers Market also stocks local cheeses, fresh breads, artisanal grains, honey, jams, jellies, and more. The Farmers Market runs through November 7th.

Ocktoberfest @ Bay Street Biergarten -It’s that time of year again. College Football: The Citadel Bulldogs take on Charleston Southern –  Nineteen months after he was hired as The Citadel’s football coach, Mike Houston believes he’s improved the talent and the toughness of the program. Come out and support the Citadel at home this weekend!

Umphrey’s Mcgee – Chucktown Ball – Umphrey’s McGee returns to Charleston, South Carolina, for the first-ever Chucktown Ball, a three-night run at the Music Farm, September 24-26, 2015. Zen Meditation Group Charleston – Charleston Zen is a group that practices meditation in the Soto Zen tradition. The group meets Sunday mornings at Holy Cow Yoga – 10 Windermere Blvd (across from Earth Fare) in West Ashley. This location is just across the Ashley River bridge from downtown Charleston, SC. Newcomers, including beginners, are welcome. There is no cost for visitors to attend.
