Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

12th Annual Mardi Crawl @ Shem Creek – On Saturday, February 27th, The Lowcountry Parrot Head Club will host their 12th Annual Mardi Crawl on Shem Creek. The event will once again support numerous charities. Registration and check-in starts at noon at Red’s Ice House, The Shelter Kitchen & Bar, and Vickery’s. The crawl begins at 1 pm and includes food/drink specials, interactive games, and live entertainment. After the crawl, attendees are invited to Red’s for an After Party featuring Dave Landeo and Three Sheets Island Band.

7th Annual Brewvival @ COAST – Ticket price will be $75. They can be purchased for $75 (cash only) at The Charleston Beer Exchange or COAST Brewing Company or for $79.99 (including processing fee) if you purchase them online. There will be live music and a number of vendors there.

Oyster Roast @ FUEL – Join us for an Island Oyster Roast. Fresh, and local, all-you-can eat oysters. $16 in advance / $22 at the door. Tickets available at FUEL. Live Music by Dallas Baker and Friends. $12 Domestic Buckets, $3 House Liquors, Lowcountry Boil, Oyster Shooters, Corn Hole Tournament at 2pm, and Outdoor heaters if necessary.

25th Annual Chocolate Affair – This gala event offers gourmet catering and chocolate desserts from Charleston’s finest restaurants and specialty shops. An open bar is available and the Reception Menu includes a variety of hors d’oeuvres. The evening also features more than 200 auction items for every budget. Bid items include jewelry, fantasy vacations, furniture, artwork, dinner packages, gifts, and services.

Charleston Night Market – Area Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! Allstar Blues Jam & Oyster Roast – Our annual event continues with the same core group of musicians as we started. All-U-Can-Eat Oysters are back for one day only…and $15 gets you as many as your tummy can hold.

A Jester King Brunch (Brewvival)– In conjunction with the annual Brewvival festivities, Edmund’s Oast Brewpub will host two special events at The Bower for patrons to enjoy. On Sunday, February 28, there will be a Jester King Brunch starting at 11:00AM. This special four-course brunch by Chef Reid Henninger will be paired with some of Jester King’s signature beers and elusive rarities presented by brewers Ron Extract and Garrett Crowell. Brunch will include eight different beers with the grand finale being a barside gravity keg tapping of Atrial Rubicite!
