Events In Charleston On Friday October, 13th

41st Annual Fall Tour Of Homes – PSC will offer traditional self-guided tours of 6-7 private houses and gardens. These are REAL  houses and not museum or staged buildings. They have had modifications and updating but they are privately owned and only open once or twice a year.

Charleston Screams @ Citadel Mall – “Charleston Screams,” a haunted house inside the Citadel Mall,  is a local, family-operated attraction. The attraction is recommended for ages 10 and up. Tickets are available at the door for $10 per person.

Where: Citadell Mall, N. Charleston

When: Friday, 5 – 7 p.m.

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM!

Where: Palmetto Brewing, downtown Charleston

Fall Evening Climb – Twilight Climbing on the Outdoor Adventure Park for access to all challenge course levels at Wild Blue Ropes! Come climb beginning at 6pm!

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Haunted Pub Crawl – A walking, bar-hopping adventure into the  soul of the city, its drinking establishments, and its deepest, darkest unknown secrets. Groups will be led by a local guide to several pubs and taverns to hear the haunted tales

Fright Nights @ Boone Hall -The new version of “Fright Nights” features four attractions – the Cemetery of Lost Souls, The Crypt, The Gateway, and the Wicked Woods Haunted Hayride.

SC State Fair – The South Carolina State Fair is best known for bringing 12 days of exhibits, competitions, food, midway rides and big-name entertainment to Columbia each October. It’s ranked one of the Top 50 fairs in the United States.

Avondale 5K Run & Walk-The Avondale 5K is the 6th largest 5K in Charleston and the only one in West Ashley. Despite Hurricane Matthew and the race’s cancellation, over $55,000 was raised last year.

Charleston Farmers Market – Checkout the Charleston Farmers Market every Saturday in beautiful Marion Square and peruse the aisles, where you will enjoy a wide variety of 100+ Local Vendors, artisans and craftsmen, as well as farmers and growers!

Lowcountry Trail Half Marathon & 5K – Take to the trails of Johns Island County Park during the Lowcountry Trail Half Marathon and 5K. Breathtaking fall foliage, moss-draped oaks, and native wildlife provide a scenic backdrop to the perfect trail run.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

When: Saturday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

12th Anniversary Block Party – The party kicks off at 12:00pm behind the shop at 334 East Bay Street. There will be a special lunch menu planned, and they will be cooking Wagyu burgers on the grill. Dough Boyz Pizza Co. will also be on site, and local craft beer will be on tap!

Edmund’s Oast Grand Opening Celebration – There will be free live music and games for kids and adults at the new brewery at 1505 King Street Extension. Guests can enjoy $4 off pitchers of house beer. 167 Raw will also have a satellite station on the outside patio offering fresh raw seafood via an a la carte menu.

Bay Street Biergarten Birthday – Bay Street Biergarten wants to celebrate there birthday with you on October 14th from 1pm – 8pm. They’re partying the Biergarten way with a complimentary liquor tasting, $4 treats and beats from DJ NattyHeavy (1pm-5pm) and Live Music fromBuzzRun (5pm-8pm).

Oyster Roast @ The Rusty Rudder – All you Can Eat Oyster Roast. Prepared over an open flame on our outdoor oyster pit. $25 gets you all the oysters you can eat, brunswick stew.  Live music starts at 4pm.

Blue Dogs Live – Events will feature live music from Charleston’s own Natty Grass Band, Triangle Bluegrass and, local favorites, the Blue Dogs as well as a Live Auction, activities, special Navy SEAL guests, 50/50 raffle and more!

Charleston RUMfest – Enjoy unlimited tastings from 16 chefs while sipping our 35 life-altering cocktails. Steel drum music followed with beats from DJ Natty Heavy make this an epic night.

Judah & The Lion – Going to Mars Tour – It’s a wide-ranging sound, with fuzz bass, hip-hop percussion, distorted banjo riffs, and super-sized melodies all stirred into the same mixing pot. They played 150 shows in 2015 alone, stretching their gigs all across America and Scandinavia.

Bendy Brewski Yoga – Accessible and fun Yoga inside the brewery for 45 minutes followed by a flight or pint of craft beer! We always some mats to borrow and your teacher Michele is kind, fun and knowledgeable!

Sunday Brunch @ The Granary – The Granary is now serving brunch again every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Indulge in dishes such as duck and waffles, shrimp and grits or huevos rancheros along with mimosas, bloody marys, Moscow mules and other brunch cocktails.
