The Charleston Classic – ESPN Events has revealed the bracket for the 11th Annual Charleston Classic. The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days. This year’s participants are Alabama, Appalachian State, Ball State, Davidson, Northeastern, Purdue, Virginia Tech, and Wichita State.

Pre-Happy Hour @ Edmund’s Oast -Daily Pre-Happy Hour — from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Enjoy 12-ounce house beers for $3 each and a featured wine by the glass for $3 per half pour and $6 per full pour. Stop by any day of the week to enjoy this!

7th Annual Smoke on the Harbor BBQtakes place at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina will be a fully sanctioned national event with the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS). This State Championship will feature Friday night wing competition and Saturday full on barbecue competition.

The Chucktown Turkey Bowl – 2 nights of DANGERMUFFIN & BIG SOMETHING (alternating headliners) + a special “Danger Something” collaborative set on the deck at 4:20pm on 11.17 w/ deck sets by the Groove Orient, Voodoo Visionary, The Freeway Revival & The Sandifer / Algar Band.

Holiday Festival of Lights – The Holiday Festival of Lights returns to James Island County Park in November for its 29th year. The annual light show is one of Charleston’s most beloved holiday events and features an estimated two million shimmering lights.

Charleston City Night Market – The Charleston City Night Market is an exciting showcase of more than 100 talented artists and craftspeople that occurs every Friday and Saturday evening from April – December. The Night Market runs from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m and is a free event that is open to the public.

Bohicket Half Marathon and 5k – The Bohicket Half Marathon and 5K at Seabrook Island is a new spin on one of the Low Country’s longstanding races. Hosted by the Charleston Running Club, with help from Bohicket Market and Marina and Seabrook Exchange Club.

Pints & Paws For a Cause – 4-year-old Charleston pup Yuki Saluki was diagnosed with lymphoma and is in need of a life-saving bone marrow transplant. Palmetto Brewing and The Perseus Foundation are helping raise the money needed for his treatment. Please join us for some good company, great beer, raffle prizes, pet polaroids (dogs welcome!)
