Loretta Lynn in Concert – Head to Boone Hall tonight to see the legendary Loretta Lynn perform all of her classics in country music from the last 50 years. This one and only show is a pretty unique experience that has country music fans excited! Boone Hall is the quintessential background for a star like Lynne, with it’s beauty, history and grace surrounding the stage. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Gates open at 5pm. Loretta Lynn starts at 8pm. $35 general admission. Boone Hall Plantation, 1235 Long Point Road, Mt. Pleasant.

Special Needs Prom – People with special needs and their families and friends are invited to a themed prom! Come dressed in your best attire and dance the night away with a live DJ playing all the current pop hits. A registered chaperone is required for participants 15 and under. 6pm-8pm. $5 if not member of the CCR. Bees Landing Rec Center, 1580 Ashley Gardens Blvd.

11th Annual Grape Stomp – Get moving to Wadmawlaw Island for the 11th Annual Grape Stomp in the Lowcountry’s only wine vineyard, the Irvin-House Vineyard. The vineyard is encouraging guests to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets for a picnic, but coolers are not allowed. The highlight of the event is going to be a Lucille Ball “I Love Lucy” look-alike contest so get your costume ready! Prizes will be awarded. Face painting, jump castles and crafts will be available for children and food and drink will be available for purchase. All day event. $10 per car. Irvin-House Vineyards, 6775 Bears Bluff Road, Wadmawlaw Island.

Ballpark Festival of Beers – The Jo is hosting the annual Ballpark Festival of Beers. Sample over 100 + International ales, stouts, lagers, pilsners and specialty brews while enjoying food trucks, live music and even beer milkshakes! (What?!) The first 2,500 people through the gates receive a commemorative sampling glass. Sampling tickets are included in the admission and the list of food trucks includes: HELLO my name is BBQ, Roti Rolls, Cast Iron Food Truck, The Creole Food Truck and Kickin’ Chicken. This is a 21+ event and you must have a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased at any Kickin’ Chicken in advance for $25 or at the Riverdogs Box Office for $30. 6pm-9pm. Jo Riley Stadium, 360 Fishburne Street.

4th Annual Steel Pony Ride and Car Show – Come enjoy a great car and truck show to help Charleston Tea Plantation’s team in its mission of providing counseling and other support to our Lowcountry firefighters and their families. Good food, good music and gorgeous cars. All day event. Free event but donations are encouraged. Charleston Tea Plantation, 6617 Maybank Highway.

Wild Blue Ropes Back To School Bash – Come out and join the Wild Blue Ropes team in support of Pattison’s Academy for a fun filled day of live music, food trucks, drinks and family fun on the Wild Blue Ropes. $10 for event only, $30 for event and climb time. 10am-4pm. Wild Blue Ropes, 1595 Highland Avenue (off Folly Road)
