El Galeon Ship Tour – The El Galeon tour is a self-guided walking tour of the ship. Once aboard, you are free to roam above and below the decks (5 total), talk to the current crew members (real sailors living on board), and absorb dozens of interactive exhibits, videos, historical documents and displays.

46th Annual Charleston Greek Festival – where you can enjoy Greek food, wine, music, dancing and fun! The Festival is Mother’s Day weekend at The Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity – 30 Race Street. Grab your family and friends and enjoy the festival as Charleston becomes “GREEK FOR THE WEEKEND!”

First Friday’s on Broad – Located along Historic Broad Street, Gallery Row opens its doors for “First Fridays on Broad” and a variety of other events hosted by the 16 galleries, restaurants, and boutiques on the Row.

Party at The Point with Machine Funk – Machine Funk “Tribute to Widespread Panic” was formed in the summer of 2006 in Florence, SC. The band tours the southeast, night after night their set lists are never the same. Tickets: $7.00. Cash Only for entry and food/beer inside the venue.

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM!

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Charleston RiverDogs Home Game – We’re having a surprise party for Darius Rucker, the Charleston native, as he rings in his 50th birthday this month, and YOU are invited.  Also, the RiverDogs celebrate the Boy Scouts of the Lowcountry… Scout’s Honor! Wear red to the box office to support the military and save $1 off your ticket OR donate that dollar to the Wounded Warrior Corps.

Movies in Marion Square: Pitch Perfect -This week’s movie is Inside Out brought to you by Terrace Theater. The fun starts at 6 pm and as always, it’s FREE. Charleston Festivities on Saturday, May 7th

Month of Man Fishing Tournament – Free to attend and compete (limited registration). Food and drink available to purchase. All M.o.M. Members can attend to watch and get points for attendance. All M.o.M. Members can explore Charles Towne Landing after the tournament for free.

Charleston Farmers Market – Located in Marion Square in the heart of Historic District in Downtown Charleston, SC, the CFM is open each Saturday, from April 9th through November 26th, 8 AM to 2 PM. There are a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

N. Charleston Art Fest – Take advantage of the many fantastic performances, exhibits, and activities taking place April 29-May 7 at the North Charleston art festival. The event has matured into one of the most comprehensive arts festivals in South Carolina featuring nine full days of free and ticketed programming throughout the City.

Palmetto Brewgrass Festival – Palmetto Brewing and Awendaw Green present a celebration of great BEER and BLUEGRASS. Downtown Charleston May 7 and 8, 2016. Food truck will be Short Grain.

Kentucky Derby @ Bay Street Biergarten – Dust off those big hats for a hat contest like no other – decorate your floppy hat like your favorite drink/bier and the most creative hat will win hands down. 11th Annual Charleston Cinco de Mayo Festival – Carolina’s largest Cinco de Mayo celebration brought to you by Hoffman Law Firm. 2016 LINEUP: Amarfis, Orquesta Mayor, Mariachi Band, Dance Exhibitions , DJ Luigi of Latin Groove Charleston. Performances will be held rain or shine under the roof of the bus shed . Southend Brewery & Smokehouse will be this year’s official after party venue for Cinco de Mayo Festival.

Just Ducky: Mother’s Day @ T & T – Ducks are $50 a piece, and 100% of the proceeds will go towards women’s cancer research at Hollings Cancer Center. (Only 200 ducks available) Take mom to brunch, buy her a duck, and then at 1:30pm step out to the dock to watch our exciting rubber duck race happen.
