Charleston Outdoor Festival – The Charleston Outdoor Festival offers outdoor fun for every age and interest. Featuring one of the country’s premier showcases of canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding (SUP), the three-day event also includes a multitude of outdoor recreation activities like mountain biking, slack lining, archery, climbing, and disc golf.

69th Annual Festival Of Houses & Gardens – Set amid the ambience of the city’s Old & Historic District, this series of award-winning tours and educational events showcase Charleston’s distinctive architecture, history, gardens and culture. The tours provide a rare opportunity for guests to go inside the private houses and gardens of some of America’s most beautiful historic residences.

13th Annual Free Movies in Marion Square – Each showing starts at dark (8ish), but you can can setup your blankets and chairs starting at 6 pm. Delicious treats brought to you D’Allesandro’s Pizza, Kickin’ Chicken, Roti Rolls, Cory’s Grilled Cheese, T&T Kettle Corn, Outta My Huevos, King of Pops and of course Charleston’s cutest food truck, Sweet Lulu’s Bakery On Wheels! Plus beer and wine will be available for sale! Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM! Featured Food Truck this week is Short Grain!

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Presents LEGENDS – Audiences will discover living legends that only exist at The Greatest Show On Earth, such as the world’s most exotic animals including the treasured  Ringling Bros.® Asian Elephants; the heart-pounding Cossack Riders of the Wind; the fearless Torres family racing motorcycles inside the Globe of Steel; and other awe-inspiring feats of strength and legendary thrills of wonder.

Cracker @ The Music Farm – Cracker is an American alternative rock band led by singer David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman. The band is best known for its gold-selling 1993 album, Kerosene Hat, which includes the hit songs “Low” and “Euro-Trash Girl.”

Gaslight Street & The Mother Truckin Horns – These men – compiled from among the best all-around musicians Charleston has to offer- know how to blend swagger with humility and sweat with soul. 2015 proved to be a big year for the band as they did two major tours across the country, recorded two albums and were recognized by Charleston City Paper as “2015 Blues Artsist of the Year”.

Hydration IV: Las Olas Fashion Show – Join Bay Street Biergarten & Las Olas as they present Hydration IX – bikini fashion show on April 15th. Enjoy all latest fashions in swimwear, cold beer, awesome food, and beats from DJ ReHab. This year the show will take place both inside and outside on the patio…more runaways = more hot summer fashion from Las Olas.

Charleston Festivities on Saturday, April 16th

Run For Adela @ Sullivans Island – The 7th Annual Run for Adela 5K Beach Run/Walk & 1 mile Fun will benefit Camp Happy Days’ Extreme Teen Water Weekend for kids battling cancer. Prizes include earth cruisers, a weekend getaway at Wild Dunes, and gift certificates to great places all over town!

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

BANFF Mountain Film Festival World Tour – Traveling to exotic landscapes and remote cultures, and bringing audiences up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2015/2016 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.

Southern Ground Music Festival – The 5th annual Southern Ground Festival will feature the Zac Brown Band opening on both nights followed by special sit in guests including the Tedeschi Trucks Band, Thomas Rhett, Marshall Tucker Band, Hunter Hayes,Michael Franti & Spearhead and many more!

Sperry Charleston Race Week – This is the largest keelboat regatta in North America! This annual event offers sailors a chance to enjoy great racing and superb Southern hospitality. With race headquarters at the Charleston Harbor Resort & Marina in Mt. Pleasant, this three-day regatta offers fabulous beach parties each evening and competitive racing in the harbor and offshore.

Crawfish for Cancer Benefit – There will be hundreds of pounds of crawfish, Palmetto beer, wine, and spirits–including our signature, always delicious Firefly Sweet Tea Vodka cocktails–and live music throughout the day. Tickets sold out fast last year so make sure you get yours before they’re gone!

CHARLESTON FESTIVITIES ON Sunday, APRIL 17TH

King of the Hill Mountain Bike Race – Come get your tires dirty in our King of the Hill Mountain Bike Race. This short-track race consists of several laps and utilizes various divisions and heats to accommodate riders of all skill levels. All participants will also have access to the exciting Try It Zone for the day.

Sunday Brunch Farmers Market – This is an opportunity specifically for small producers and new and beginning businesses who source locally to sell amongst their peers and to develop their market base. There will be live music and tons of local vendors. Please come out and support us!

Grits to Glory – The show that tells the story of the musical heritage and evolution of Charleston, and the South.  With great singers and gifted instrumentalists, we’ll trace Southern musical contributions from the late 1800’s through today’s music.  It’s a love affair with our city and the musical traditions and styles that come together here in the south.

The Lumineers @ Volvo Car Stadium – Come out to Volvo Car Stadium on Daniel Island for an amazing show by the Lumineers. The Lumineers are a folk rock band, based in Denver, Colorado. The two founding members and songwriters of the Lumineers are Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion).
