The Charleston Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl – This is the premier Ugly Christmas Sweater event of the holiday season. Celebrate the holiday by showing off the ugliest sweater in Charleston. The crawl will be held on upper king street, in downtown Charleston, and will include most all bars in this area. Pre-purchase your tickets online for a discounted price.

3rd Annual Winter Wonderland Party – Twenty Six Divine is teaming up with neighbor Blue Heron Acupuncture & Apothecary to celebrate the season of gratitude, beauty & togetherness! Festivities include a holiday market featuring locally-made gifts, local art show, live music, taco bar & drink specials!

Where: Twenty Six Divine, downtown Charleston

When: Friday, 6 – 9 p.m.

Holiday Fair -The weekend Holiday Fair offers families and friends a place to gather and celebrate the holidays. Children can enjoy free visits with Santa Claus and loads of fun activities in his workshop. There’s also marshmallow roasting, over-sized holiday cards by local students, and live entertainment. The Stony Landing House will be adorned in historical decorations provided by the Town and Village Garden Club. Entry is included with your $5 admission.

Holiday Festival of Lights – Each year, thousands of families create lasting memories at the Holiday Festival of Lights, where millions of multicolored lights illuminate the sky throughout 52 enchanting nights. Journey through three miles of over 700 magical light displays of all shapes and sizes. Park your car and enjoy family activities, shopping, food, entertainment, and so much more!

Charleston Festivities on Saturday, December 12th

25th Annual Reindeer Run – A festive 5k put on by the Charitable Society of Charleston benefiting the campaign for MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. The race route starts and finishes in front of Southend Brewery & Smokehouse. There will be plenty of music, food, and drinks – and it’s all free (as long as you have a race number).

Holiday Farmers Market & Craft Show – The annual Holiday Farmers Market & Craft Show combines all the goodies from our traditional food market such as locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, hot food and homemade preserves with handcrafted gifts created by local artisans.

Where: Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market @ Moultrie Middle School

When: Saturday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Holiday Parade of Boats – ‘Tis the season to jingle and mingle on the harborfront! The annual Light Up the Night Holiday Parade of Boats combines two of the Lowcountry’s most beloved traditions – the allure of the harbor and twinkling holiday lights. Oysters On The Point – A sister of Party at the Point, this once a month winter series features locally steamed oysters, live music, and plenty of beer choices. This winter series always kicks off in December on the same day as the Charleston Parade of Boats which can be seen perfectly from our pier.

When: Saturday, 2 -6 p.m.

Holiday Market at The Green Barn – Carnes Crossroads will transform into a holiday wonderland with festive lights and holiday cheer! Vendors will be selling handmade items in Green Barn. There will be choral performances from school and church groups on The Village Green.

Cigar Bazaar, A Holiday Pop-Up – Stop by The Cigar Factory to shop for the holidays with the latest collections from local retailers and vendors. Participaiting Vendors include Southern Smoke Cigar Truck, Bulls Bay Saltworks, Charleston Weekender, Granna’s Gourmet and many more! Additionally Fritz Porter is hosting a Workshop of the Building Arts and Janet Gregg Jewelry beginning at 2 p.m.

Charleston Holiday Market – The Charleston Farmers Market is dedicated to the support and advocacy of Lowcountry farmers, growers, prepared/packaged food, artisans, crafters and live performers. We offer a variety of local produce, plants, herbs and cut flowers as well as breakfast and lunch vendors, live entertainment and an assortment of juried arts and crafts from local artisans. Attracting citizens and visitors alike, the CFM is the community connection, bringing together people from all parts of the Lowcountry and beyond.

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

Charleston Festivites Sunday, December 13th

Annual Summerville Christmas Parade – The Annual Christmas Parade brings the community together to spread Christmas cheer. Traditionally, the parade is one of the largest in the state, and has featured nearly 3,000 participants with an overwhelming spectatorship of 25,000.

When: Sunday, 2 p.m.

20th Annual Mt. Pleasant Christmas Light Parade – More than 100 floats will march down Coleman Boulevard as the Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade sets sail to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors. The tree lighting and fireworks display begins at 5:30 pm at Moultrie Middle School, immediately followed by the parade.
