Nighttime at the Museum. Discover what happens after hours with this interactive tour of the Charleston Museum. Don’t worry–this Charleston event is all fun and games, so this tour is appropriate for all ages. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Pizza and ice cream are included in the ticket price. $10/ adult and $5/ children for members, and $20/ adult and $10/ child for non-members. Bullet Catch. Part of the Spoleto Festival, this show combines the mystique of a magic show with the artistry of theatre. June 5-9. Playing at the Emmett Robinson Theatre at the College of Charleston.

Mount Pleasant International Beerfest. This is one of many Charleston events that is hosted by the Town of Mount Pleasant as well as Q104.5, this festival offers dozens of beers to sample, live music, children’s activities and food from local favorites like Sticky Fingers, Pawley’s Front Porch and Dog and Duck. Preservation Walk: Historic Cannon Street. The Preservation Society of Charleston leads this informative walk on the thriving Cannon Street corridor, which was named one of the “Seven to Save” in 2012. Once a neglected area, the corridor has now become a center for business on the upper peninsula. 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Call 843.722.4630 for ticket information or order online. Tickets are $15 for PSC members and $20 for non-members.

Oedipus. The first of Sophocles’ famous trilogy about the doomed King Oedipus and his family is given fresh perspective in this Spoleto presentation, which is led by actor and director Steven Berkoff. June 4-8. Memminger Auditorium.

Spoleto Festival Finale and Beer Garden. Middleton Place hosts an afternoon and evening of music, food and drink as the Spoleto Festival closes for its 2013 season. Listen to live music beginning at 3:30 and sample local beers and delicious food. Fireworks cap this Charleston event after the Red Stick Ramblers have taken the stage.
