Charleston City Mayor: The city of Charleston will be electing a new mayor for the first time in 40 years. Mayor Joe Riley has decided to retire leaving the position wide open to newcomers. North Charleston City Mayor: The current mayor and incumbent of North Charleston, Keith Summey, will run against 3 opponents in the North Charleston race. North Charleston City Council: All 10 city council seats will be determined during this election as 27 candidates compete for the open spots. Where do I vote and when?
When: Polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today, November 3rd. You must be registered 30 days before the election to vote. The cut off date for this was October 3rd.
