Don’t Dress For Dinner: A Play – The Footlight Players Theater Company in downtown Charleston is opening up their 83rd theatrical season with “Don’t Dress For Dinner”, a romantic comedy set in the French countryside. 8pm. $30 for adults. Footlight Players Theater, 20 Queen Street.
Reggae Nights Summer Series – Featuring old school roots reggae with new school jams, Reggae Nights is a fun, relaxed evening at James Island County Park. Lowcountry Artist Market – Shop and support all things handmade, vintage and/or local! This event has been created to bring local artisans in front of their fans! The Artist market will provide a place for all to interact. Expect to find jewelry, vintage clothing, stationery, children’s clothing and more!
Cocktails and Cufflinks – The first ever Cocktails and Cufflinks Bachelor Charity Auction is happening tomorrow night in downtown Charleston! Meaning ladies will be bidding on eligible bachelors to go out with! Beyond bidding for bachelors, the event will offer silent and live auction items including spa packages, restaurant visits, wellness kits, jewelry, travel experiences, sunset cruises, fishing charters and more! All proceeds will be going toward community initiatives and computer lab development focused on bridging the digital divide. Starts promptly at 7pm. $20-$30 in advance. Fresh at the Farm Dinner – Prohibition chef Stephen Thompson and Stars Restaurant chef Joe DiMiao are setting a scene for a true farm-to-table experience that will included cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and then a family style dinner.
