Fourth of July Festivals with Fireworks Shows
Uncle Sam Jam – Enjoy the cool harbor breeze as you dance to live beach music at the Mount Pleasant Pier! At the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, the scenic Mount Pleasant Pier is an awesome spot to watch the area’s fireworks displays! Join in on the party at the end of the pier, and groove to live beach and party music. Gates open at 7pm, music begins at 8pm. $8 admission for Charleston county residents. Mt. Pleasant Pier, 71 Harry Hallman Blvd.
North Charleston 4th of July Celebration – Free 4th of July Festival with live music, delicious eats and a big ole’ fireworks show when the sun goes down. Enjoy crafts, a laser light show as well! Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs. Food and drink will be available for purchase. 3pm-9pm. FREE to the public. North Charleston Riverfront Park, 1001 Everglades Park.
Folly Beach Fireworks – Folly Beach will honor Independence Day with a grand fireworks display. Beginning at 9:30pm, fireworks will be set off at the 2nd Street East Beach Access, and will be viewable from several major points on Folly Beach.
Kiawah Island Independence Day Festival – Let the fun begin on beautiful Kiawah Island! Enjoy beach music from the Headliners and various attractions for family and friends to enjoy! Festivities include: live music, tie-dye, face painting, children’s train, carnival games, and much more! Food and beverage tickets will be on sale at Night Heron Park throughout the day and at the event. Food will be served until 9pm and the fireworks will begin at 9:15pm. 5:30pm to 10pm. Independence Day at Middleton Place – There is tons to do for the whole family at Middleton Place Gardens this 4th of July. Celebrate the 4th at one of the original sites where he Declaration of Independence was signed. There will be declaration readings every 30 minutes, revolutionary war re-enactors to interact with, a hands-on military drill to take part in and lots f crafts for the entire family. So if you are looking for a fun-filled, educational day for your kids, Middleton Place is the place to be. 10am-4pm. All activities are free with admission into the property. Middleton Plac, 4003 Ashley River Road.
Red White and Blue Party – Head to Southern Season in Mt. Pleasant for an afternoon of activities, crafts and delicious fare. Kids will enjoy outdoor ames along with complementary snow cones, cotton candy and popcorn, and if you come early, be sure to bring the kds by Southerly Restaurant for the $5 Red, White & Blue Pancake Special! 12:30pm-3pm. Get away from the Crowds with these options…4th of July Picnic on the Water – Spiritline cruises invites you to come aboard for a full-menu dinner cruise with the best view of the fireworks…on the Charleston Harbor!! Click the link to see the menu. Tickets will sell out so purchase in advance. 7:30pm. $50 for child admission with dinner. $70 for adult admission with dinner. Aquarium Wharf, 360 Concord Street.Patriots Point 4th of July Blast – Enjoy the professional fireworks display of Mt. Pleasant on the Charleston Harbor with a beach music band. Tickets on the flight deck of the USS Yorktown will be sold in a limited quantity. For $20 per person ($10 for children 11 and under), guests on the Flight Deck will enjoy special access to the USS Yorktown starting at 6 p.m., with catered food and beverage available for purchase, as well as live musical performances and activities for kids throughout the evening. Once the sun sets in the Charleston Harbor, the Flight Deck of the Yorktown will offer a front row seat to the fireworks display, which will feature firework shells shot from a barge in the Cooper River. Lawn chairs are encouraged for guests on the Flight Deck; but no coolers or personal food will be permitted. 6pm. $20 per person with food and drink for purchase. 8th Annual Sizzlin Southern Celebration at Circa – Join Wentworth Mansion and decadent Circa 1886 in celebrating the 4th in true southern fashion. Enjoy libations and delicious 3 course “Grill” dinner, all accompanied by live music. After dark, guests head to the Mansion’s cupola with panoramic views of the city to watch Charleston’s fireworks display. 6pm cocktail hour on the lawn with small bites and cash bar. 7pm dinner begins. 9pm begins the fireworks show. $70 per person.
