Festivities In Charleston On Friday, March 31st

Cooper River Bridge Run Kids Run & Wonderfest – The festival and race is free to all who wish to participate! All are required to register and sign a waiver to receive Kids Run Race Bib Number Adults are encouraged to register to run with their children.

Where: Hampton Park, downtown Charleston

When: Friday, 11 a.m.

70th Annual Festival of Houses & Gardens – Set amid the ambiance of the city’s Old & Historic District, this series of award-winning tours and educational events showcase Charleston’s distinctive architecture, history, gardens and culture.

Where: Charleston City Market

When: March 14-April 22: Monday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 12-5 p.m.

Summverville Flowertown Festival – Every spring, thousands of people visit Summerville to see nature’s bounty awash in color, from the hot pink azaleas, to the purple wisteria, to the delicate white dogwood.

I Slept Through The Bridge Run Party – Come down Friday Night and get the Cooper River Bridge Run Weekend started. The Dinner special will be Chicken Parm, so all you bridge runners can load up on carbs.

Charleston Night Market – Area ​Artists and Artisans will take over the Charleston City Market as  THE NIGHT MARKET continues this weekend! The Night Market is located in the Charleston City Market, Charleston’s #1 most visited attraction; a venue where over 50 area artisans, artists, food vendors, and local musicians gather together, each Friday, Saturday & night, to create a memorable evening. 6:30 pm-10:30 pm.

South Carolina Stingrays Home Game – The South Carolina Stingrays take on the Orlando Solar Bears at home this Friday night.

Festivities In Charleston On Saturday, April 1st

Bridge Run Pre-Party @ Dunkin’ Donuts – Race participants are encouraged to stop by for free samples of its new cold brew and iced coffee. There will also be some Dunkin’ Donuts swag for attendees. In addition, 95SX will be broadcasting live.

Where: Dunkin’ Donuts, Coleman Blvd – Mt. Pleasant

When: Saturday, 6 a.m. – 8 a.m.

Volvo Car Open – Charleston welcomes 90,000 spectators and more than 100 world-class, women athletes to participate in the excitement of the Volvo Car Open. Records are broken and memories are made as extraordinary tennis stars take Stadium Court to compete for the coveted title of the Open.

When: Begins this Saturday, April 1st – April 9th

Bridge Run After Party Luau – Come get leis at the Cooper River Bridge Run After Party! We’re opening at 9am so you can come in, grab some bites, watch the runners and help us throw out leis! Live Music starting at 10am.

Bridge Run Saturday @ Fish – Cooper River Bridge Run racers and fans, the finish line is at Fish on Saturday, April 1 – and we hope we’ll see you there, because these specials with a front row seat on Upper King Street are too good to pass by!

Bridge Run After Party @ The Alley – Doors open at 10am. The first runner inside wins a $25 gift card. The first 50 runners inside will get a mini bottle of Charleston Mix Bloody Mary Mix. This is a race that you could actually win!

Running for Brews Bridge Run After Party – Come and party after the bridge run at the brand new Gentry Bar and Room – 276 King Street!! They will be opening early and offering food and drink specials. Free drinks if you wear your running for brews 2017 bridge run shirt!

Bridge Run After Party @ Bay Street Biergarten – Doors open at 10am to enjoy the bloody mary bar & mimosas, while you refuel with our Brunch Buffet. Choose from our 70 taps, some of which are right at your table for pour your own pint of awesomeness.

Cooper River Bridge Run: Burgers, Brats and Beers – The Macintosh will be open for the Cooper River Bridge Run! Come celebrate post run with: Burgers, Brats and Beers, Serving a limited menu and drink specials, Live bluegrass music.

Unoffical Bridge Run After Party @ Revelry Brewing – We will kick it off at 10am. And we will be throwing down until 10PM. Join us for live music, bad-ass beer, and beautiful views from the rooftop!  Deadwin Live from 12-3PM

Bridge Run Party and Final Four – We will kick it off with End of Bridge Run celebration and “Re-kick” it off with Final Four (featuring our Gamecocks *ahem) on all TVS with sound at 6pm. Both bars will be open serving full bar and food menu.

The Harlem Globerotters @ N. Charleston – The world famous Harlem Globetrotters, featuring some of the most electrifying athletes on the planet, will bring their spectacular show to North Charleston during their 2017 World Tour.

Fire Party @ The Brick –  The Brick is burning it down with a 4th anniversary Fire Party on April 1, starting at 8pm hosted by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Fireball Whisky. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to benefit the MUSC Children’s Hospital‘s Burned Children’s Fund.

Bridge Run with The Spazmatics – While rocking the College of Charleston in the early 80’s, the band was deemed too dangerous, too cool, and too rocking to exist – because they looked too geeky. Enjoy some classic 80’s throwback rock!
