11th Annual Lowcountry Father Daughter Dance – The dance, sponsored in part by Mount Pleasant pediatric dental office Kids Teeth, includes dinner, dancing, photos and flowers for the girls. Tickets are $40 for dad and one girl; $15 for each additional girl.

Friday Wine Tasting – Learn about and taste four featured boutique wines. Our selections represent the creations of small-production, mostly family-owned wineries. The $5 tasting donation benefits our quarterly charity partner

Save The Light Half Marathon & 5K– For those unfamiliar with the culinary celebration, diners spend the “week” sampling the varying cuisine of the Lowcountry. Participating restaurants offer prix fixe menus, discounted prices, or other specials throughout the event.

Mt. Pleasant Weekly Fish Market – Shop the freshest seafood in the Lowcountry at the Mt. Pleasant Fish market every Saturday at Moultrie Middle School. This is a special market for local fishermen to sell their fresh-off-the-boat catch.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. Homegrown also holds a mission of bringing interactive ways to educate your community on the health and environmental benefits of making sustainable choices. Homegrown offers classes, demos, and interactive opportunities for locals to be active in making sustainable choices in their lives.

Repticon 2018 Repticon, which first debuted in Charleston back in 2004, is a large reptile and exotic pet show. The convention includes vendors offering reptile pets, supplies, feeders, cages, and merchandise.

2018 Pup Bowl – Pup Bowl is a pet adoption and family-fun day to benefit the Charleston Animal Society. During the event, all of the cute puppies face off in a friendly “football” game.

2018 Shuck-O-Rama – Come and enjoy an unlimited amount of fresh oysters, Gumbo, beer, wine, soft drinks, live music, fun, and fellowship with friends! Proceeds will assist BIASC in providing help and support to persons with brain injury and their families.
