Weekend Events In Charleston on Friday, April 6th

Pre-Happy Hour @ Edmund’s Oast -Daily Pre-Happy Hour — from 3:00-4:30 p.m. Enjoy 12-ounce house beers for $3 each and a featured wine by the glass for $3 per half pour and $6 per full pour. Stop by any day of the week to enjoy this!

Palmetto Brewing Loading Dock Music Series – Join Palmetto Brewing for the 2016 Loading Dock Music Series. Live shows every Friday at 289 Huger St. Performances begin at 6, and the music goes until close at 10PM!

The Volvo Car Open – The nine-day Volvo Car Open is the largest women’s-only tennis tournament in North America, attracting an average of 90,000 attendees and 100+ of the top tennis players.

Charleston City Night Market – The Charleston City Night Market is an exciting showcase of more than 100 talented artists and craftspeople that occurs every Friday and Saturday evening from April – December. The Night Market runs from 6:30 – 10:30 p.m and is a free event that is open to the public.

Charleston Enforcers vs. SCSHA Stars – The Charleston Enforcers is a hockey team composed of law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS, and Military personnel. The SCSHA Stars are players from several teams in the South Carolina High School Hockey League.

 First Friday: I Love the 90’s Party – Attending a great party on a Friday night is an awesome way to start the weekend…saving money is an even better way to kick off the weekend, and the month. On the first Friday of every month, The Brick will be throwing a dance party with DJ NattyHeavy.

Cooper River Bridge Run Finish Festival – At the Finish, DO NOT STOP, walk promptly through the finish area. For the safety of all, and fairness to those finishing behind you, please move swiftly through the chute and into the Finish Festival area.* Entertainment, Vendors, Food, Souvenirs, Refreshments and lots of Fun!

Bridge Run Bar Crawl After Party – the 5th Annual Bridge Run Crawl will be held in downtown Charleston. Attendees are encouraged to wear their best horse race attire.

Live Band Bridge Run After Party – Doors open at 9:30am and the first runner inside wins a $25 gift card. Even better, the first 50 runners inside will get a mini bottle of Charleston Mix Bloody Mary. This is a race that you could actually win! Bridge Run After Party + World Record Celebration – Come watch the Stafford Brothers set the World Record for longest entrance to a DJ performance as they run the Cooper River Bridge Run and head straight into the DJ booth for their daytime set. Then make sure you come and see their full set for the night party.

46th Annual Flowertown Festival  – Festival-goers transcend this gracious Southern town to take in the flowers and hospitality and attend one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast: The Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival.

Bridge Run Patio Party – Join us after the Cooper River Bridge Run for another epic day party on the patio. DJ rDot 11am-3pm, DJ United 3pm-7pm, The Mich Ultra Mobile Bar featuring $3 cans & $4 pints, $5 Wicked Weed pints, Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar featuring Dixie Vodka & Charleston Mix – $6 bloodies all day.

Johns Island Homegrown Farmers Market – The aim of Homegrown is to be a point of sustainable connection for the Lowcountry community. After The Race Party @ O-Ku – Join O-Ku to cool off and refresh after the Cooper River Bridge Run with sushi, sake and Sriracha Bloody Marys! Just steps away from the finish line, O-Ku will be opening at 11 a.m. to welcome runners, walkers and spectators to celebrate the bridge run festivities!

Oyster Roast @ The Rusty Rudder – All you Can Eat Oyster Roast. Prepared over an open flame on our outdoor oyster pit. $25 gets you all the oysters you can eat, brunswick stew.  Live music starts at 4pm.

46th Annual Flowertown Festival  – Festival-goers transcend this gracious Southern town to take in the flowers and hospitality and attend one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast: The Summerville Family YMCA Flowertown Festival.

Bendy Brewski Yoga – Accessible and fun Yoga inside the brewery for 45 minutes followed by a flight or pint of craft beer! We always some mats to borrow and your teacher Michele is kind, fun and knowledgeable!
